Ingredients:-
- 1/2 Batang Fish or Mackerel(Ikan Tenggiri in Malay) - only use the fish meat.
- 1small yellow onion, sliced
- Few slices of ginger
- 1 tomato
- Spring onions, cut into small sliced
- Pint of sugar and salt
- White pepper
- 1 tbsp of water
Methods:-
- Remove the fish meat from the skin, add little water and use spoon to press the meat until sticky(approximate 15 mins)
- Cover the fish paste and leave aside if you are preparing the soup using the fish bone and skin. (I skipped this step)
- Stir fried the yellow onion, and add in the water(fish broth if have), boil it.
- When the soup is boiled, add in tomato. Use the spoon to scoop the fish paste and drop into the soup. Repeat until all fish paste finished.
- When all fish ball floating on the soup surface, means it is ready to serve.
- Sprinkle spring onion on the soup and serve while hot.
