炭炒福建面

I reached JB late and feel a bit hungry so my friend suggested this eatery place. There is no name for this stall and it opens only at night till late night. The location is around Taman Ungku Tun Aminah. Nearby you can see the Soon Kee Hampers. You can only see a signboard with 炭炒福建面(Charcoal Fried Hokkien noodles). So you know what you should eat when you are here, the signboard tell you the signature.

It has other food options but we were quite late so the option became less. We ordered the charcoal Hokkien noodles, claypot noodles with raw egg(砂锅月光老鼠粉或米台目), fried chicken and fried lala(a kind of shell seafood).

The Hokkien noodles looks like all black but it tasted good and it has to consume while hot as the taste will change if it get cold. The claypot noodles with an raw egg, you have to mix it while it serves hot so that the egg will get well cooked with the heat of the claypot and noodles. Taste wise quite similar to the Hokkien noodles.

The fried chicken wing marinated well and it is crispy while served. Beware of being burn. It will be even tastier if it is not that oily.  The fried lala cooked with a lot of garlic, garlic leave, chili and some sauce. It tasted very good too but again too oily for me.

I still recommend the readers, this eatery place worth for a visit.
