I was invited to the grand opening of the Siglap branch on 31st August. I like their cakes, therefore glad that I had the chance to visit the new branch. It is located at Siglap Drive, if you do not has your own transport, you can alight at Kembangan MRT and take bus 42.
The new store here is larger than the Duxon one with more seats. I visited their kitchen and understand from Heidi, the operation manager cum the master that kitchen here bigger and serves as R&D too. They already started operation early August but due to it is new and some technical issue, the cake currently still deliver from Duxon main branch.
The best part of the opening is I can try out their most famous cakes like strawberry shortcake, napoleon, choco royal, mango cake, the new recipe - avocado with lemon jelly, macaroon pie, croissants etc. The flor at Siglap serves savoury pastries which are not found at Duxon branch. I love the napoleon and macaroon pie. So nice but the pie is too sweet for me. If you are sweet tooth, you definitely like it. They serves hibicius drink which is quite unique and understand from kitchen, that is homemade from the real flower and not the powder type.
