Spruce

Spruce was conceived as a casually sophisticated restaurant in the heart of vibrant Tanglin road. It is not accessible by MRT, but you can take bus to reach there.

I like the environment, it gives me a feel like dining in the garden. There are some greenery scene and a mini pools which allow you to take a short break and rest.

Spruce provide you all day breakfast menu until 4pm. It also have brunch, lunch & dinner menu. We made the reservation around 2pm as previous session all fully booked.

Crab Cake Benny($25) - Ciabatta, Crabcake, Poached Egg, Back Bacon and Hollandaise. This is quite nice and I find that I start getting in love with egg benny. The crab cake was tasty.

Spruce Signature Prawn Pasta($22) - Zucchini and Parmigiano. Although the colour looks a bit green but it actually tasted good. However, I am not sure what type of prawn they are using, I felt the prawns were not really fresh.

Spruce Eggs Benny($15) - Corn Waffle, Back Bacon and Hollandaise Sauce. I still prefer benny serve with bread or scone. When it come with waffles, it doesn't means not nice but i feel quite strange for it.

Spruce Signature Burger($17) - Hand Cut Chips. The chips when served was crispy, however, it seems got soggy quite fast. The burger itself is nice, it will be even better if the patty can be more juicy.
