Prego

I joined Committee Lunch @ Prego on 21 Aug 2008. Below was the set menu I had there. Every set lunch served starter, main course & dessert. I like the starter, the rock melon was so sweet and juicy. Surprisingly I like the combination of melon and ham. Main course was nice as well. However, I was a bit disappointed with the Tiramisu.


Starter - PROSCIUTTO, MELONE E FICHI(20 months old Parma ham, rock melon and balsamic figs)



Main Course - PESCE ALLA GRIGLIA CON INSALATA DI PATATE AMALFITANA (Grilled fish of the day served with Amalfi style warm potato salad and arugula leaves)



Dessert - TIRAMISU(Ladyfinger biscuits steeped in coffee, mascarpone cream and bitter cocoa)

These were the other's set menu's dishes that taken by the other colleagues.


Starter - PREGO PANZANELLA(Traditional bread and tomato salad with ricotta salata cheese, oven roasted bell peppers,Olives and marinated anchovies)



Main Course - COSTINE D’AGNELLO AL FORNO(Oven roasted lamb chops served with potato mash, grilled vegetables and red wine reduction)


Dessert -Zuccotto Fantasia(Kahula flavored ice cream with chocolate cookies, Caramel and vanilla sauce)

This ice-cream is really nice and yummy where I found I like this more than tiramisu.
