Fried carrot cake & hokkien mee ($5 each), Claypot Rice($5.90)
Food is important. Humans need a lot of things to survive, food is one of them. I just simply like to eat and would like to share the food that I had eaten or I prepared to remind myself how fortunate am I for all the cuisines.

Lau Pa Sat (老巴刹)
I went to Lau Pa Sat 老巴刹 for few times. I am quite disappointed for the food I ordered. This is one of the food stall in Singapore which is rated nice. Am I too choosy or I really don't know what food to order? Next time need to try their satay.
The ceiling of the market
Mini-work Noodles from Song Kee Fishball($4.50)
Fried Hokkien Mee from Hup Kee ($4) - Very famous, I tried it at some other place, but the one in Lau Pa Sat really not nice, too wet
Soya Drink($1.20) - less soya taste
BBQ Chicken Wings($1.50) - taste not good, too oily, the meat is very dry.
Popiah($2) - suppose should be quite nice, but it puts lot of vegetable that I dun like
We went there again, this time I brought my 2 friends from New Zeland to try this out, for the environment and also the food. The satay is nice which I din try last time. The dessert just average. This time the fried carrot cake & hokkien mee are quite standard, better than what I had tasted last time.
The claypot rice is not the traditional style which cooked from rice, this is the instant version which rice is pre-cooked. They put the rice in claypot and other ingredient and heat over the fire. Original claypot rice should be cooked with rice and water until it become soft then only add in other ingredient. However, in Singapore, not many places have such claypot rice as it takes longer time to cook.
