Ingredients
300g cauliflowers 花椰
3 slices bacon
1/4 onion
100g shrimps
2 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp salt
4 tbsp flour
200ml fresh milk
1 cup pizza cheese
Method
1. Rinse cauliflowers and pluck into small florets. Cut bacon and onion into small pieces. Remove veins (肠泥) from shrimps and rinse well. Scald (川烫) with boiling water before rinsing with cold water. Drain well.
2. Put butter in a pan and fry bacon and onion till both ingredients become brown and oil oozes(出油) out from the bacon. Add cauliflowers and 1/4 cup of water to cook for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and dish out.
3.Heat 1/4 cup of oil and fry flour over low heat till browned. Slowly add milk and cook till thickened. Add the cauliflower mixture and shrimps. Mix well and transfer onto a ovenproof dish. Scatter cheese on top.
4. Bake in a preheat oven at 200 degree(400 F) for about 15 minutes.
Notes:
Add milk a little at a time and stir well before each addition so that the mixture will be smooth.
