Old Town White Coffee

Old Town White Coffee originated from Malaysia and it has more than 200 stores in Malaysia and probably have 10 in Singapore. They are working to get it Halal certified in Malaysia and Singapore. Singapore just had it halal certified in Jun 2013. It is a good news for the Malay friends, they can now try the great coffee and good food there.

You straightaway know what you must try when you are here. The white coffee for sure! For those who do not that coffee, there are other drinks available for you to choose from. The nasi rendang here is famous too but we did not want to have such heavy meal in the morning so decided to go for the lighter version. We ordered the breakfast set which comes with a drink.

Kaya Toast + Boiled Eggs Set($5.50++) - the usual breakfast set that I will be ordering. The toast were good and so as the coffee.

Meehoon Siam Bungkus($4.90++) - tasted not bad but the beehoon portion is quite small

Wanton Noodles Soup Set($8.50++) - my friends said tasted ok, consider pass.

Char Siew Noodles Set($8.50++) - pass for the noodles and failed for the char siew. The reason why the char siew failed because it tasted too porky which I don't like it. My friend who is not that particular as me feel the char siew is quite good, better than some other place.
