Jones the grocer

This is the 2nd time visit. My 1st visit was to the one at Dempsey, had a good impression on the food. The menu looks interesting but too bad no pictures.  I admitted we are quite particular on how the food being served. If it looks good, probably it tastes good too(most of the time). However, this theory doesn't always correct.

As you can see from its name, with products sourced and selected from around the globe, jones the grocer is a food emporium focused on providing natural ingredients produced by specialist, artisan suppliers and showcases these through the innovative in store cafe menu which you can enjoy in the casual atmosphere of our contemporary designed cafes. They have stores all over at Australia, New Zealand, Qatar, Singapore and United Arab Emirates.

Sometime you need not to spent too much time for some complicated dishes, you can just get all the ready stuff(roducts ranging from premium tea leaves to luxury chocolates, from artisan crackers through to handmade pasta sauces) on shelf and start your cooking. If you love cheese and wine, here is also a place where you can find cheese and wine pairing.

Cappuccino($5) and Flat White ($5) to complete our lunch feast. Coffee tasted average.

We had Benedict($20) from breakfast menu. The Benedict just right with the running yolk and English muffin combination. Love it.

Roast Pumpkin and vegetables salad with Persian Feta ($15) from salad menu. My friend did not like the strong smell from the feta but I do love it. The grilled vegetables and roasted pumpkin with the seasoning is just great.

The dessert menu show you only very little selection, for the desserts at Jones the grocer, you can just simply go to the counter and pick your own favourite. Macaroon, sliced cakes, bread, muffin etc, there are so many selections.

**Sorry for the poor dessert photoes

Warm Sticky Date Pudding with caramel sauce and ice cream ($14) from dessert menu. A very very sweet dessert for me because of the caramel sauce added. If I had the sticky date pudding and ice cream only that will be just fine. The cake is warm and tasted good.
