Ingredients:-
* 125g blueberries, washed
* 100g sugar or grated panela/piloncillo - adjust more or less to your preference
* ½ lemon, juiced ( I like lemon, so I added the whole lemon for my jam)
Instructions:-
- Combine all the ingredients in a small pot over medium heat.
- Bring to a boil and cook over medium low heat for 20-30 minutes and stir constantly to avoid the sugar being burn
- Serve warm or cold.
Tips:-
- I read the book, it is advise not to reduce the sugar for the jam, however it depends on your preference, for this jam that I made, I felt it is too sweet for me, I will try to reduce the sugar next round
- Try not to cook until too sticky, I did that myself and I found it is hard top spread, however, it depends on personal preference
