I used to crazily tried most of the ramen in Singapore during that certain heat period. Then I stopped as I found most of the soup base are too salty for me. I occasionally still like to try out as I really like the tonkatsu soup and recently start to prefer miso.
This is 2nd time to Baikohken, the more 1st time is at the North Canal Road branch. I didn't know it has one at Takashimaya basement. With the experience for the 1st time, I knew and I advised my friends not to go for shoyu and shio if they prefer light version. I took miso and great that the saltiness level is the one that I accepted. Ramen is nice overall except the char siew which I was disappointed with it. It somehow have the taste that I don't like and there is better at elsewhere. I especially love the bean sprout that served with the miso ramen.
There are 2 sizes of the ramen and you can choose the smaller one if you are not big eater. What is the difference? The lady told me less noodles and you will get less 1 char siew. I made a right choice as the small one already make me feeling very full after I finished the whole bowl. I drank all the soup.
