La Pizzaiola

Recommended by a friend that this restaurant has really good pasta. I dun usually took pasta in restaurant but the picture she showed me looked good and tempting. They are famous with their pizza too. You can view the full menu HERE. Total bill damage for the dinner $36.25 for 2 dishes. I would said that is quite reasonable for its quality.

Quattro Stagioni($15.9++)[Tomato, mozzarella, artichokes, ham, mushrooms and olives] - I love this pizza. The skin is thin and crispy. The topping just matched greatly.

Pizzoccheri Della Valtellina($14.9++)[Hand-made whole grain pasta with butter, sage, potato and cheese] - very special pasta. I see some similar prata in this way but not pasta. It is covered by the puff skin and is crispy, smelled good. If you like cheese, I think you will like it a lot. Overall, tasted quite good, the hand-made pasta doesn't taste the usual we had but texture is good. However, comparable I prefer pizza more.

I suddenly spotted this special oven when I saw a chef put in a pizza, only then I know this is for pizza. The shape is very special,  it is made in Italy and it's one of its kind in Singapore. The inside of our 1 tone gas fired machine is heated over 300 degree to ensure a best crisp and chewiness desired of the pizza crust. The rotating base of the oven ensures that every pizza is cooked evenly and consistently.
