Symmetry

Another popular cafe spot in Singapore,  located at Jalan Kubor. I heard about the good quality of food but the price is a bit pricey.  You are advise to make reservation if you are going in a big group or you want to have nicer seat. I went without doing that and they were almost full. So I got the seat at the end of the place next to the way to washroom.

I saw on other blog regards one of the portobello mushroom dish but I was told that is only on Monday menu. I went on Sunday so no chance to tried that. Another must ordered dish that I saw almost of all other blog is the truffle fries, it is stated as Potato Fries on menu. I did not get to try that as 2 of us not a big eater to consume the whole bucket of fries with the main course. Thus, cannot comment on that.

I looked at the menu for quite sometime, everything looks interesting.  We finally decided to have the egg benedict and waffle.  Next come our coffee, I think I am kind of addicted with the latte arts. We got Mocha ($5++) and Hot Chocolate Marshmallow ($6.5++). I checked with the staff whether I can request for any kind of arts and she said we can. Unfortunately the master of latte art was not in on that day and the another one cannot do that many kind of arts. So I got a common flower instead.

Egg Benedict ($22++) serves with 2 poached eggs, bacon (very fatty, not much meat), mushroom with hollandaise sauce and some salad. The paoched egg is really soft even the egg white portion. Tasted quite nice except I feel the bacon is really too much fat.

Waffle ($16++) with berries compote, chocolate hazelnut and peanut sauce, maple syrup served with blueberries ice cream - supposedly but after that I just realized they served us vanilla ice cream, so kind of disappointed on this. Other than this,  the waffles are good.
