TWG

I was attracted by the environment and the setting. The TWG that I went is TWG Tea on the bridge of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. This is probably the most expensive ala-carte high tea that I had.

TWG Tea was established in Singapore in celebration of the island’s great history as a trading post for teas, spices and fine epicurean products. (I am sorry, I thought it is from UK or other place).

You may choose your desserts from the "showroom" here, that is where I chose one of the desserts.

Cannot remember what tea we choose, the name is just hard to remember as we choose those tea that are not common in hypermarket. The tea set that served is nice and the tea is non-refillable.

1837 Crepe($14++) - served with homemade berry marmalade maded of raspberry, blueberry, cherry and blackcurrant infused with 1837 black tea. We added $3++ for a scoopt of Tea Ice-cream. Crepe tasted standard but the ice-cream is nice.

I can't remember the name if this dessert, but it tasted like creme brulee with berries. It is really nice but too sweet for me.

Muffins - It come with the 1837 Tea Time Set Menu($19++) where you can choose scones or muffins and a pot of tea. The muffins tasted quite good.
